The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) has recently announced the addition of two new CARLI-funded film collections available from Western Illinois University. Titles can be requested through the I-Share catalog. To request a title, you first need to have a current DU ID card and be registered at the library. If you haven’t already done so, stop by the circulation desk to register.
The African Film Collection, a collection of films about Africa, containing works by African and non-African filmmakers. And a Holocaust Collection partially funded by CARLI. Films in this collection located in the Quad Cities don’t circulate. These Quad City films belong to a separate special collection–not funded by CARLI. All other films in the Holocaust collection, however, do circulate.
