Open Access Week 2010

This week, October 18 – 24, is Open Access Week.  Open Access Week celebrates and brings awareness of the benefits, to scholars and to researchers, of making information freely available.  The link above provides you with information and ways to get involved.  Here is great short video on how open access can benefit you:

Last year, Dominican hosted several Open Access Week events on topics such as author rights and open access journals.  See video here. (This link is undergoing maintenance but should be available on the morning of Wednesday, October 20.)  This year, though our enthusiasm for and encouragement of open access is no less strong, we are not holding any events.  We are preparing for our next big step into the world of open access.  Coming soon . . . .

What is LearningExpress Library?
