As we get deeper into the semester, professors are probably advising you to start thinking seriously about your big research projects. If you don’t know where to start, Crown Library’s How to Start Research workshop can help. We will lead you through three basic steps that will set you up for success: reading your assignment to identify all of the research requirements, understanding the difference between a thesis and a research question, and creating key words or search terms. Once you have these three skills, you’ll be able to start your research on the right foot. We will be hosting this workshop in Rebecca Crown Library, Room 111, at the following times:
Monday, September 18 at 6:00 pm;
Wednesday, September 20 at 2:30 pm;
Thursday, September 21 at 11:00 am.
You can register on the library’s Workshops page.
We hope to see you there!
