Inside the Librarians Studio, part1

Welcome to part 1 in a 6-part series.


Heather Parisi is the Technical Services Librarian at Dominican University. Her main responsibilities when not giving candid interviews are cataloging, I-Share liaison and supervising acquisitions, periodicals and reserves. Ms. Parisi has been a librarian for over 15 years. She received her MLIS from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After working for a time at a public library in southeastern Wisconsin, she joined our team in 1998 and was awarded tenure in 2004. Heather is currently performing as a reference librarian on Wednesday afternoons or you can catch her act for a limited time in the Library Access Workshops offered throughout the semester.

It’s a toss up between “interlocutor” and “signage”

A room full of books

Hypocrisy and duplicity
