St. Catherine of Siena Celebration

Today Dominican University comes together to celebrate and honor the legacy of St. Catherine of Siena. Join the Dominican community at the Priory Chapel at 7:00 p.m. for evening prayer and continue to the lecture in the Priory Auditorium at 7:30 lead by M. Shawn Copeland, PhD, professor of theology at Boston College.

During tonights event everyone is invited to delve into St. Catherine of Siena’s gift to speak truth to power, especially in her ability to bring the papacy of George XI back to Rome. Although St. Catherine of Siena left us in 1380 at the age of 33 her legacy still holds strong and with great relevance to today’s society.
