The Illinois Presidential Primaries for both the Republican and Democratic Parties will be held on Super Tuesday, February 5, 2008, when the greatest number of states will hold their primary elections.
The U.S. presidential election of 2008 is scheduled to be held on November 4, 2008. The Illinois deadline for registering to vote in the General Election is October 7, 2008.
